One Single Executable

This entire site — pages, images, JavaScript, CSS, fonts, and the Go web engine — fits into one single executable. Built with Go as SSR + MPA and vanilla frontend tools (HTML, CSS and Javascript), it is fast, lightweight, and fully self-contained. No frameworks. No external dependencies. Just clarity, simplicity, and maintainability.

Ecograder and PageSpeed

Sustainability is rarely a priority in web development. Often, it is the opposite. But this site proves that small and fast is also green. Smaller footprint = lower energy usage. Faster load times = better user experience. Minimal dependencies = cheaper hosting. Whether or not you trust the “green status” metrics, one thing is clear: this site is cheap, small, and sustainable — and that benefits both the planet and your wallet.

Hosted on a micro VPS

This mini site is hosted on STRATO ($1 per month) 1CPU, 1GB RAM and 10GB storage. I admit, I had help from AI — mostly Copilot — as a sounding boards, image creators and troubleshooters.

Lesson learned: You do not need a framework to build something fast, accessible, and sustainable. Just Go!
